I've seen it once here at my LFS. It's very rare it turns out. I bought it for $35.00 for a friend who wanted it (This is before i got my BGK and fell in love with knife fish's). It died a week later. That was about a year and a half ago. I wish i had kept that fish. I'm still waiting for another one to come around. Just curious though, i've been told that this knife fish doesn't grow very large, is this true? How large does this knife fish get?

he actually wiped out most of the 6 ghost shrimp i bought for him and ive been giving him blood worms and and brine shrimp late at night...
ive seen him eating so im happy.. im gunna have to get rid of my feather fin syno tho which is one of my favorite cats because hes just to much competition for the knife food wise...
oh and also idk how common this is but ive caught my knife eating some dead leaves and algea!?!?!
i kinda figure he does to help his digestion?? like a pleco
