I honestly haven't looked into it. It's the little fish I forget I own until I do some tank work and it pops out. I can't say I've ever seen it defecate, but it's never appeared unhealthy.

Thanks for the kind words all. The argentea is looking a bit rough as the barred and it don't get along well.

A. robertsoni, 3". 1 year old non-growing SOB.

Heres a pic of my Robo, had him 2 years and he's only grew an inch!

My last robertsoni grew from 2" to 7" in about a year and a half. Maybe I'm just being too optimistic with this little guy.

Great looking CA cichlids.

Your female JD is one of the nicest looking specimens I have ever seen. Kudos for raising such a beauty, to the ripe old age of 12 no less. Must have been tough losing her.
