Central American tank - Cutteri and Convicts

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
G'day,

beautiful tanks and fish you have there. I've never seen Cutteri in Australia but have Spilurum, another close relative, and have these succesfully living together with cons. With your sized tank,I see no problems, except if they decide to hybridise. As long as you've got pairs of each I don't see a problem,as Ive never seen a problem with this as long as there is pairs of each.

Again, beautiful fish and pics , thanks for sharing.

cheers

i absolutely love all the driftwood you put in that tank...i bet gravel cleaning is a ***** to take all those out...lol

I can see this pics now! Very nice set up with the Cutteri! All that wood looks sweet! Very beautiful looking fish. How do the Cutteri and cons get along? I would like to add a pair of Cutteri to my 55g con tank as well.

The cutteri are tougher than con's but there are doing fine together with the cutteri taking over most of the tank. I think having all that wood breaking up line of sight and giving hiding places helps.

I have a big center piece of wood with rock formations on both sides. Keeping my eyes open for some more wood. I love the look of all that wood in your tank. Just looks uber cool!
