Sorry I can't seem to find my other thread of this tank but thought I'd share this video of the central American growouts. The melanura are really coloring up nicely along with the black belts.

Ya I know, faster than I really expected. Lots of water changes and heavy feedings. The sajica definitley slowed their growth rate down a bit but all the vieja except the Argentea are growing at a quick rate.
1st pic is that melanura in middle of October, 2nd pic is the melanura at the end of October, 3rd pic is mid November and the pic I posted earlier in this thread is from recent just to show the progression of this guy
Updated pic or my dominant male. Still growing like a weed and looks to have a start to a bit of a nuchal hump coming in. The colors on this guy are amazing. He's going to be a true monster. He's growing at a much faster rate with way more intense coloring than all the others. If the blue eye /yellow eye theory is true, then he is the only male to 4 other females in this tank. Lucky him.
Very nice colors, so vibrant. Maybe he is the only male that's why his Nuchal hump is coming out so young bc of his Dominance in the group
Ya I believe he is. All others have the yellow gold eyes, aren't nearly as dominant or Aggressive and don't have close to these nice of colors. I'll share some pics today of the others to show the difference. There is a male black belt, or I believe it's a male, possibly 2, in this tank but this melanura handles all the fish very well. There's 3 black belts in there so hopefully I can get a pair out of those as well and hope they can just stick to doing their own thing.
