I switched my 3 90gal. tanks to all run through 1 filtration set-up in the basement, and it was the best thing I ever could have done. I no longer hear pumps running, water changes are a breeze, Its just all around alot easier. Im currently working on switching the water to run through a hydroponics set-up. Its a little bit of work switching everything over, but I think you will like it when its done. You will save tons of time cleaning filters and water changes. I would also think of adding a drip set-up also if I were you. That was also one of the best things I did to save on time spent maintaining my tanks.
