Everything looks very good. About adding the fish I would add both and see how things turn out.

I have thought about just adding both but really want to stick with just one amphilophus type. Its just to hard to get rid of extras in the seattle area, everyone seems to be into africans around here for some reason.
 
i have two trimacs and i love them to death. by far my favorite fish. however, they are the boss. they pick on anything that comes in their way and can be very aggressive. with that being said, i have seen trimacs in a community cichlid tank.
 
Nice fish and aquascaping! But, i think i prefer natural lighting!
