Sold my Asian arowana cause it was killing all my fish and causing havoc (see my thread). Now that my centrepiece fish is gone, I’m looking for new ideas.
Love my bichirs at the bottom of the tank. My datnoid has already made its territory at a corner of the tank so it just camps there most of the time, making its rounds here and there occasionally. My Florida gar, eh, wouldn’t really call it a centrepiece fish. i was thinking of either:
1: monoculus peacock bass pair
2: a vittatus/ Tanzania African tiger fish
3: channa maruliodes
4: channa cobra pair
I would prefer to stay away from cichlid recommendations, don’t like them at all. The snakeheads were my first thought, but their aggressive nature is making me think twice. Don’t want another aggressive fish again, I can’t handle the stress. What do you guys think?
