i'm wondering what do i feed theas guys to make them a monser fish? they are all larger than 2" and smaller than 7". i plan to have them all to gether in a 5 foot 125 gallon tank. any feeding tips. i'm feeding them tetraMin tropical flakes and krill with great sucsess.:D thanks for you help.

just feed a varied diet including frozen krill and don't use flakes, go with quality pellets. you might need a bigger tank considering the channel cat's adult size

Hi Wheatly, I'm the one who sent you here and responded to your ad on Kijiji. Pet stores sell large pellets along with frozen food to satisfy your fishes appetite. Just don't feed them feeder fish.

you could mix in whitebait,shrimp/prawn,earthworms,cockles etc as pellets tend to be messy, try feeding pellets 3 times a week and the other foods rest of the time, don't forget 25% weekly water changes as these fish put a strain on the filtration, you prob won't get the fire eel to eat pellets though and you will prob have to handfeed it to make sure it gets enough good luck Paul
