yea i was thinking of setting up a tank for jellies, but after some research, you need a completely round tank and loads of water movement. i still think it would be sick to have a jelly tank but its too much trouble for me at the moment.
 
damn oddball, is there anything you dont know???
 
Actually, someone asked Pete ealier this year if he had any Freshwater Jellies. They are just too hard to keep, need a lot of plankton and other tiny live foods to survive, not to mention a specialized tank set-up.

There is a lake a few hours north of me that has jellyfish blooms every couple of years, they just show up out of nowhere and are all over the lake. They don't live very long after they are collected, though.

Meepster, have you ever Died Burning?;) If you have then you know my puffers personally!
 
Wow! call me silly but I had absolutly no idea that there were fresh water jellies much less being able to keep them in an aquarium. Thats amazing! They would look so beautiful and make for a very surreal tank set up
