The smallest, which is protected, chameleon is the Brookesia minima, this picture is by Bill Love and is of a full grown adult.

ok i have thought about it for a long time lol; well i just remebered that i posted this so... anyway i have taken the idea back up.. but what i want to know is do i have enough time to look after a chameleon? also i sometimes go down to my holiday house which is about a 2hour drive tops... if i got two aquarium things could it travel down there in one of those special reptile traveling boxes? also how much time a day would i have to set aside to handle it? feed it? also i was kinda hoping that i could feed it by buying the boxes of crickets and just opeining it in the aquarium so as to give the chameleon an interesting hunt... is any of this possible? would one of the smaller species be very difficult to look after... thanks

Well it's probably because all chams are CITES.

If all chams are CITES, then how do you go about selling your stock? Guess i'm asking cos i'm interested to have one...
