wimmels i got a question for you , you guys have access to more cichlids then us, do you ever get any serranochromis?

Well to be hounoust I haven't looked into that, because it is a non-endemic cichlid of the Malawi lake. And I can't remember seeing these on a stocklist either.

I guess I could order these fish at the importer if I want to, but I'm not really into non-endemic species.

Its a fish that isn't normally kept as far as I know. Why do you want these? Because of their size?

The Rhampochromis family grows up to 20-25 inches as well.

When I have my large tank finished once I have my breeding shed, I want to import some Novochromis Livingstonii as well.

These fish get that large however that they aren't caught for export normally as they can't be kept in a normal (what is normal) aqaurium

I think of them more as a large mouth bass, with real nice color, they also get humps on there head, like south american types
