chance to buy a 700g

Educate yourself on repairing an acrylic tank and the decide if you still want it. I would be looking for a better deal on the tank myself. I would also love to have a 700g tank and would not let is slip by if I thought I could make it work. I purchased a 210g acrylic off CL for cheap, the top bracing was separated from the tank walls. So far, my repairs with Weld - On #4 are holding, but I have yet to do more than fill it up to test it.
yeah it is acrylic. I just mentioned silicone, i really don't know if it is, but the tank aint in one piece, it is glued some how...what kind of glue is used for acrylic?
i would take a picture of it cause you might be able to just bond it back together, but pics would def help.
my LFS has a 10x5x5 acrylic shark tank that leaked after 8 years. the peices on that tank are all separate as well.
not siliconed, but perhaps glued/epoxyed??
they were able to drain it and do a repair no problem.

There is a thread in the DIY section here of a guy making a awesome acrylic tank. Here is the stuff you need to weld it together.

You should search in the DIY build section. He explains how it is really important to get the bottle just right when applying this stuff.
