When I first started this hobby, I bought two flowerhorns the typical aggressive,territorial cichlid which somehow paired in the community tank. I gave away the brightest ones from the batch to my friend which eventually paired also. Anyways long story short, he returned the favor and shot me a paired flowerhorns. Nothing special but they look like they are going to fill the tank up. I'm thinking of removing the divider soon. What do you guys think? I have a driftwood log piece that has multiple holes so the fhs can only get it but these cichlids grow fast. Should I just try with convicts?

No man, your 11 red belly Piranha are already cramped in your 125, dividing it or even adding more fish is a horrible idea and will greatly increase your already huge bio load, if you want these fh get another tank!

How is your shoal doing? Haven't talked to you in awhile.

But I agree, it seems like you have too many aggressive fish and not enough room for them all. My suggestion is thin the herd or get another tank.
 
I just hate when people ask questions, get the answers they dont want, then leave. It's like they use us.

I have all the respect in the world for atfownz, just wish he would finish what he starts... I have given him plenty of good advice in the past and I know respect is mutual, so maybe he's at the bar?
