New 10g cycling for them. The fhs were divided the whole time, easy meal if not. That idea was far out for me to even attempt. The fhs seem like be the perfect pair and it would be a waste now.

A 10g cycling for a flowerhorn pair? If I'm reading this correctly then that is a bit sad. Get them at least a 75 please. If I'm reading it incorrectly then I apologize.

That's better than having 40 fhs in a lfs 15g. My purpose to produce some fry. Plus, it will be inevitable to upgrade size. But I'm thinking short term anyways. They get food 3 times per week similar to my other fishes.

I went to the closest Ace's and bought a plexiglass sheet fit to the wanted dimensions. It well worth the $10 imo. Man it was fun watching those fhs trying to attack the piranhas during feeding.

Just take out some bio media from ur fx5 and ur 10 is instantly cycled! Or even put a fx5 old sponge in there!

Also they have 35 gallon rubbermaid tubs at menards or lowest for 10$,try that, more likely to spawn!
