Chanel cat/RTC problems

My CC avoids all other catfish. A bullhead killed one of my CCs by biting it's fins off. Strange things happen when you house fish together that would never coexist in the wild. Just keep an eye out. Kinda like with cichlids when you introduce catfish together they have to get their pecking order straightened out. Is by chance the aggression happening during feedings also?
 
I dunno my cc is quite aggressive he is about 15" and sometimes terrorizes my Red Devil and Red Terrors who are also pretty large. They used to try and stand up to him but he is just relentless and seems to have become the boss of the tank. I used to worry about him because he was much smaller than my cichlids when I first put him in but even then would spar with them. Each fish is different maybe you got an unusually nasty cc
 
I hand feed each one seperatly so no its not during feeding its normally late in the day when i notice but thats when i spend the most time with them
 
my brown bullhead is the boss, he doesnt pick on anyone, as long as he cant eat them, but he will not let anyone push him around. all the fish respect him and if they dont they learn to. He is a beast.lol
 
i had an albino channel cat that would pick a fight with everything in my tank. he went right down the list and lost every time. then he started up with my red tail cat. the cc is no longer with us. my rtc killed him then tried to eat him whole ,but i had to take him out fillet him then give him back to the rtc. yummy.
