Sometimes separating them isn;t all that easy though is it? It's often a question of where on earth to put them. I used to keep a spare tank just so I could juggle my fish if need be. Then I got a pond. If anyone has an aggressive fish just chuck it in a pond and hey presto problem solved. At present I have a Giant Gourami, 6 Pacu, 3 Oscars, and a flower horn in my pond along with about 90 million platies and no one kicks up a fuss. Throw that lot in a tank and it would be carnage. Iqbal, if you need to get shot of one of those Silver Arrows I'd happily swap the bigger one for my Giant Gourami. PM me if you're interested.

just to keep you guys updated that both my aros have actually settled down. there is no more fighting of any kind. although they dont swim together all the time but they are not fighting now.
