Are you sure that's the EXACT fish that will be shipped to you? I'm starting to notice that your supplier in Peru uses the same picture over and over and over again.

Maybe it's just me though.

Actually, it's kinda cool. He doesn't use stock pics on his site or his sponsor threads. Once he sells the fish in the pic, he updates the pics with his new stock. Alot of his pics have been used by others on other sites (including planetcatfish). The first 2 monsters I bought from him turned out to be exactly the specimens from his posted pics. I'm sure it will be the same in this case. I'll let you know at the end of the week.

i gotta see those plecos

These are imprompto pics I snapped off while I was cleaning. I didn't set up my spotlights or have my reading glasses on (for the LCD display). Anywho, here are a couple of 1st shots of the giant panaque I got from Chad. Since the near disaster (if you've read about it) he's moving around, eating, and took a dump that would make Mr Ed blush (You can see it in the background - sorry). I moved him into the 180. The overflow box is centered on a 72" tank. He darkened up quite a bit in this tank. Probably because there's no hiding place or his piece of driftwood while he's in the hospital tank.

And, I gave him a lollipop (green of course) to get him to smile pretty for the camera.

The big mottled eel sustained multiple scrapes when he bit through his shipping bags. I'll shoot some pics once he's healed up a bit. He's eating fine and took down 7 shiners and a crayfish in the last couple of days.
