My electric was causing some major aggression problems but I like that fish too much to give him up. I was told by more than one person to try making the rocks into two piles on either sides of the tank. So far, this has helped conciderably. He is still a little moody wenis most of the time but not near as bad as before. I have also ditched the Nimbochromis venustus for one 3'' male orange peacock of some kind. Let me know what kind you guys think he is. Thanx

Welcome to MFK! Rearranging your tank can help with aggression. I rearranged my tank and added a cave for my RTBS but he is still a bastard. Hope your situation works better.

Its kind of like hitting the reset button.I end up redecorating at least monthly cause I cant stand not gravel vaccing under the rocks.

Yah it's habit for me everytime I clean the tank it gets re-done and I move everything around I cant help it lol. Looks nice though!

That peacock could be an Auloncara baenschi, but there are others with similar coloration. Your electric may not like him either, as they tend to not like other fish with the electric blue color. Nice tank and nice electric blue.

Nice tank setup. Your peacock could be quite a few species. To me it looks like a young german red or aulonocara rubescens both of which are a man made species. Once it develops it's full color it would be easier to tell. Anyways he is nice looking and so is your electric blue.

Love the setup and the peacock...

Seems like everytime I get a new species I end up rearranging the tank to make it more "comfy" for them...God help me when I run out of room for new fish...I'll have nothing to rearrange!

had to post twice i really love your set up... you do salt your water right?

so nice.. i might do a 240 gal african tank just cus of yours
