So far so good. I gave the water a day to clear up and the filter to work its magic and I went ahead and removed the rest of the gravel and as much debris as possible. The oscars seem pretty happy with the new look. It is hard to get used to but not too bad. I'm going to test later for ammonia and go from there. My buddy should be over later to run a pipe right to the top of the tank. It will have a faucet on it and I can fill it up like a giant sink. Water changes will be a snap.
