Go with andrao or bleheri, bleheri can be kept in groups, andrao too.
Stewarti would need a bigger tank and cooler waters 23-25 preferably to show the lovely blues and a 75 long at the very least aggressive buggers.
For the tank size you are having channa from the gachua complex or the above two mentioned would be the best choice
A group of 6 is the best way to go
Andrao are not very aggressive, but being channa anything that might fit is considered food
If I keep andraos or bleheris, do I need to maintain a temp of around 24 degrees C? Would the tank size work for punctata? I might do gachuas or punctatas depending on availability but I am kinda scared about getting andrao or bleheris because of the fact that they are subtropical.
Hi! I was waiting on a friend for some gachuas but he can't travel now. So I have got two Ompok pabos in my tank. Do you think I can add bleheris or gachuas in this tank?
I lived in Southern India, which is not subtropical, but I have kept the bleheri and bred them as well, my tank temps have reached 28 in peak summer.
Punctata grow larger than gachuas and bleheris.
Gachua is a complex, they're spread all over India, some in subtropical and some in tropical as well.
Although ompok and gachua live in similar settings, they will fight each other.
