Channa and Ophiocephalus

It's the other way around. The previous genus; Ophiocephalus was changed to Channa about 30 years ago.

there are at the mo. 28 species of snakehead, 25 are classified under the genus Channa and are native to southern and eastern Asia and 3 are classified under the genus Parachanna and are native to Africa.
