Please update me on which species are now under which genus.
I'm curious.
Thanks

And why was Channa split?

Thanks Oddball - weird, because all of my old books have them listed as Channa - Are any of them still under Ophiocephalus?

Yes, I hope you feel special. I KNEW there was a reason for Google :)
Thank you very much! Much appreciated.

When was "parachanna" "done" ?

spott on

there are at the mo. 28 species of snakehead, 25 are classified under the genus Channa and are native to southern and eastern Asia and 3 are classified under the genus Parachanna and are native to Africa.
