Can I keep juveniles or sub adults channa argus In the same aquarium?

Are they aggressive or tolerant of behavior? Or are they only tolerated by a partner?

What would be the minimum size aquarium measures to maintain a group of 4 argus?

Thanks

I don't believe argus are different than most channas.

In which case, I would say they can cohabit for a while together, especially as juvenile, as long as they're added together. Once they hit sexual maturity (and sometimes sooner than that) they will fight until two, one or zero remain.

Either a couple forms, which is unlikely with this few specimens, either no couple forms and the most dominant will try to kill the other three. Sometimes, the last two end up so injured that once one is dead, the other is so worn out it ends up dying, which is why it could end up with zero alive.

Argus are not schooling fishes once they are past juvie stage.

As for tank size, I honestly don't know, I assume a 250g is minimum for two specimens if you are to get a couple.

They Will not tolerate tankmates long term , even s a bonded breeding pair would require a massive tank/ pond to live together long term or they'll likely rip each other sparer when breeding attempts or fry are involved .
