Xia Men, right across from taiwan... yea tons of channa argus, but rarely you'll see giant snakeheads

what do you guys call giant snakehead cantonese? i know they call channa "hak yu" in general

Heh I think they're called Sang Yu (C. argus)...not sure about giants though. Most people don't realize that the fancy SH's are related to the edible ones (or if they do, the chinese names don't have anything in common...) C. bleheri is Chut Choi Deen Long (7 colored electric dragon) but not sure on giant SH's...

It will take feeders but it will be in stress for a few days.
And some snekehads doesn't even make it.
So now it's up to the luck to decide

^ we'll see... i didn't buy any channa argus since i found micropeltes in the pet market... because of the severe power outage i had to leave the fish in the store, im getting them delivered tonight. i'll snap some iphone pictures when i get them
