thx

14 inch.. channa is very territorial.. but you can try to mix them and see what happen.. :D

not all channa's are territorial. I've kept asiatica before, not for very long, but i they were relatively peaceful.

:iagree: but Channa bleheri is an unaggressive snakehead which grows to only 6'' ish they require some hiding places and i have even kept them with Angle fish so the Bleheri is not a problem but it could end up as dinner as he will be less than 1/2 its size.

Do NOT mix these two species together! From what I've been told... asiatica is very very aggressive species. An extremely bad temperment... perhaps one of the worst of it's kind! :uhoh:

Keep the bleheri in their own seperate tank. they are quite a shy peaceful species that could end up becoming food for the asiatica. I would not risk it.

bleheri max size: 6 to 6.5"
asiatica max size: 14"

man i wish my two asiatica's surved. I had them for about a month prolly less, i dont remember, but they were such passive channas. Actually come to think of it they were both wild caught and both ended dying from some parasite that looked like it was eating its flesh away. nasty stuff

sorry for the loss.. do you know what kind of parasite on your channa? i hate parasite.. before this, my giant snakehead had infected with 2 types of parasite.. tapeworm and the other one i still don,t know.. it look like scale and suck blood on snakehead head.. i had try too many type of anti ecto-parasite but useless.. those parasite make me crazy and lastly i just using my hand to pick one by one those weird parasite on my snakehead head.. and it effective.. :) now my snakehead free from parasite..
