hi all anyone keep these
i saw them in a lfs today thought they were really nice looking fish
anyone got any info size eating habits how best to keep can you keep more then one in a tank all the usual stuff

never kept them myself although i see them for sale quite bit.
i will add this in the correct forum and you will get more info
 
Great small Snakehead, 6" although have seen quotes of 8", not sure if they are true or not.

Very easy to feed, will eat anything, I feed mine pellets, Frozon blood worm, Shrimp, and pieces of whitebait. Live shrimp and worms, they can fit quite alot in there little bellies, He also takes flakes I put in for the Botia's I have in with him.
Yes a Snakehead eating flakes. Some of the shrimp he eats are half his size.

You can keep more than one, they are reasonably peaceful, depends on the size of tank of course.

We have seen these in our LFS, they are for sale at £12.95.
They can be kept in groups together, unlike most other snakeheads. Feeding has already been said but we also chop mussel, cockle and prawn into tiny pieces for our smaller snakeheads and they grow at a fast rate.

I just got one of these little guys it's about 2 inchs it's awesome...it is probly a male because it has that dot on it's tail... :woot: :clap :headbang2
 
i have just bought 4 all about 2 and a half inch they are amazing anytime i am at the top of the tank they are looking for grub
