Channa Diplogramma

I have imported one. common name was Emperor snakehead. It was DOA. I didn't know what it was supposed to look like and thought they sent a red by accident!

that indian snakehead is a real beuty!
strange it looks nothing like a red in color.

my friend here went on a fishing trip in southern India and caught some channa fry. I'm going over to his place next week or so. He says they're channa diplogramma. I'll try and post pics. Any ideas on its max size ?
max size is around the same as micros and look forward to some pics if possable , if caught in india and looks similar to red when juvie or like the adult in this thread it is indeed a diplo as micros are not found at all in india. there is dna testing being done at the moment to see if diplo is a seperate species to micro or the result of a micro release in india many years ago and developed in its own way . personally i think it will be shown to be a species in its own right , but only dna will tell for sure , i dont know if jelly has any updates to this information as i know he is well into them
