How is this 30"
These are shots from your videos, your hand shows the tiles being 6" (maybe 8") to scale and that way the side tiles line up with the short side of the bottom tiles.
The Channa only covers three of these tiles so even if the tiles were 8" that's only a 24" fish.
I'm after a Diplo but if your fish is actually 30" it's not something I can do without an upgrade...
I'm sure you quoted your redtail at 40+" and it's only covering just over 3 tiles.
yes those are the same tiles I have used, hence you are right the fish is less than 18".

19" seems to be the maximum from my research.
I'm gonna try Diplo and wyckii I think with a divider ready in the 300g.
Btw the tiles I have used arent 6"X6", lemme keep a tape measure against thet tiles and put your doubts to rest.
I did catch the fish a few days back. He was way too strong and jumpy, didn't measure keep a tape measure beside the fish to get the sizes. Was worried it might damage itself.
I have seen quite a few diplos beyond the 19" mark.
