Channa Fireback! plz Help! think they have become a pair

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really hope he is holding some fry ;)
Now he havent eaten for 5-6 days.. But it really looks suspicious ;D

Yesterday i did turn up the heat on the pair tank. And 5cm under surface level the temp was +27.3C just after lights went of. Should i have temp lower?
I know that Channa sp laos Firebacks are Tropical. But i dont wanna put the fish in danger in anyway.
Before i did turn up the heater i had a temp of +22.8C

Or is the higher temp good for them now when the male is probably holding fry?

I would not turn up the heat , I believe they are more sub tropical then full tropical . Tropical air temps but water temps in the region are not as high as you'd think .
