I cant see those being a problem mate as long as they are small enough/chopped up. I have some of the same fry as you do off Rick, I lost some cos my tank werent cycled properly, so I got 2 left in an holding tank which I change the water everyday. They seem a bit picky with food, they do eat bloodworm, but they dont seem greedy which I thought they would be. Im hoping I can keep them alive, and get them established.

Sorry bout your loss mate I would have been traumatised if I lost mine... I was doing a water change last week and 2 of mine escaped for about half an hour!! My girlfriend found them and we put them back in, luckily they were fine but I was going skitzo!!
I did a fishless cyle with my tank, took about 3 weeks to complete and every1 thought I was mad feeding pretend fish twice a day with the water looking and smelling like something died in it, but it cleared up in the end, I did a 90% water change and now its sweet...
When did you get them? Mine were a little picky for 2 days, then I put some frozen bloodworms in and it was a fish frenzy!! They might just need to settle in, plus with another change of tank they could be nervous... Do they move much? For the first couple of days mine sat right at the back breathing from the top not moving much and huddled together, but now they are not shy atall...

I got mine last wednesday, the remaining 2 are hiding under a plastic coffee cup I cut in half lol, Im cycling mine with a prawn rotting in a stocking, when its done they can go into their new home, with more hiding places. Mine look like yours, when I look top down on them they look like a snake a dark greeny/brown colour with very fine pin spots on their bodies. Cant wait for them to turn dark and half the blue on them.

You can take your own pics then lmao glad they're doing good tho, many things you can feed them including what you've already said, white worm, black worm, krill, lobster eggs, chopped prawns/mussels/cockles, when they get bigger things like fish, meal worms, normal worms, crickets, Steven yours are probably being fussy down to stress, is colour washed at all? once they're in a quite tank again they go mental for food probably

Oh and no way of telling sex yet, the ones you both are the fast growers of the batch, there's still some in there not even half inch

I honestly was not supposed to say ''my'', If you look at the title it says Channa Gachuas and fry, I just seen them and thought it would make a good profile picture and would be good to post, I realised after but couldn't change it... :nilly:
Like ampthetex said tho I cant wait for them to look like that, 1 of mine is huge probably a good 2 inches... Will they go that dark colour? I seen some that are lighter on google images?
