I reckon there's around 40 in there ,the parents aint fully grown yet @ 4 & 5" which is why I was surprised to see them.
Tonight i'm gonna net half of them out to a tank on there own to see which grow better and as a defense against losing them all,not keeping all my eggs in one basket as it were.

I would not net just half, the stress of the netting alone might prone the parents to chomp on the fry.... net all of them out or leave them with mom and dad. In fact I would wait till theyre about an inch or so before netting them out, this way they have time to adjust.

agreed , i would also leave them a bit , they are great perants i will look after them , looking at the size of the fry they must have been fed eggs from perants to get to that size without any feeding from you .
