i use the JBL CristalProfi 250 for this tank. Its an external filter, 700l / h.

i feed cichlid sticks, bloodworms, Mehlwürmer, shrimps/prawns, worms, fishes, insects,...

All i can get for them ;)

Wow, you obviously know what you are doing. I had no idea they were mouth brooders or they fed their fry with their own eggs, very cool.

The baby-gachuas are now out of their dangerous time... the take food, swim around... and in 1 week they are ready to give away.


Now... you have a complete breeding periode in this topic ;)
 
This is a very good post thanks! Fry grow fast. I am tempted to get some and try myself since they are such a beautiful fish too. I have bookmarked your image gallery (Coppermine). Thanks again for the great photos.
