Hi everyone, I brought this snakehead about 6 months ago. I ordered him as a Channa bleheri, but was told that the supplier diddent have any in and that he sent this one (Channa harcourtbutleri [spelling?]) in its place. I just wanted him to be properly identifided on here if anyone can. Originally I thought he would get to 5", but other reports say 8" is more likely. At that size I fear for the climbing perch which recive most of his attention. These are two photos I have of him, will get more when I can. Not the best for identifying, but cool looking!
