Bummer, in the wild they do come out of the water but like eels they stay damp in wet vegetation, etc.
that sucks bud. i figured your channa would recover given other jumpers stories...sorry to hear that.
Very sorry to hear that as I said I have got them back from desiccated its just the luck of the draw. If you have a very warm house and a nice dry carpet this probably went against you. My one was in my fish room witch is an out building so a bit damper.
