Hello! So my parents are set on moving to New Brunswick in the next years or so and snakeheads are legal there every species even northerns (although I will not be keeping northerns) I talked with a couple people in this thread and we narrowed it down to either channa pleurophthalma or channa marulioides (Emperor snakehead) I got some good answers in this thread but I just want to ask some more questions because that thread seems to have sizzled out and the plan has changed https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/snakehead-for-a-125g.739965/

I now most likley will have a 180 instead of a 125g and a 75g I really want a solo channa marulioides do you think that could work in a 6x2x2 tank?
Krismo962 Krismo962 showed me this
Yes you could house a solo channa marulioides in the 6x2x2 , they are about as big a species as you could get in that sized tank.
Anyways let me know what you think

Maruloides grow huge 28" and upwards, I have actually bought a 2750gram specimen from the wet market to keep one in my pond, a few years ago

No it won’t work. Channa marulioides grow gigantic. There’s one aquarium shop near my Tution centre which specialises in snakeheads, and there’s one that’s 3ft long.
