Channa Micropeltes Dying!

No, filtration is not the problem. Water quality may well be. Just putting a great filter on a tank is no guarantee the water will remain suitable.

and the pics ive shown you above was the actual tank of my giant snakehead but the set up is different the substrate are natural river gravel and corals but same filtration system

Until something changes my mind, I again assert that the chlorine in your tap water is killing your beneficial bacteria. You need to dechlorinate your tap with a conditioner like Prime so your bacteria will live and eat the fish's waste. If you do this, and the snakehead is still sick, then it's something else. But by now he might not recover anyway. The point is, for your fish to be and remain healthy, you need to dechlorinate your tap water if it contains chlorine or chloramines.

this shouldn't be the issue though... snakeheads have a pretty good reputation for being hardy... i've never dechlorinated my tap water before doing w/cs and i've never had a problem.

im using dechlorinator bud..that's why im confused what is the reason behind my snakehead's illness

Have you tried Melafix & Primafix??? coz one of my puffers once had a sort of fungus growth and after dosing the tank with those two products, it cleared up the problem in the matter of a week or two...
