Channa micropeltes (snakehead)

found out after he were into the glas that he is 8 inch, not 6,5 :)
now i have ordered some gravel, i went with this type (picture) thats nice for big fishes so they dont move it around that easy..

Here is 2 pictures from 5min ago.. i have some litle 1 inch fish with him but he dont eat them? he havent eaten since i got him and 2 days before that. i have seen litle fish on top on him head when he resting on buttom and he let them live:p
maybe he djust need some rest and setle down before he start to eat?

i found some other river stones i bought instead at where i live in a gardenshop so i dident have to wait for the store that i ordered the others from to get it, these are alitelbit bigger but work fine so they dont get moved around when fish swim..
he havent eaten anything, 5 days since i got him now, hope he start eat soon..

i would stop changing up the tank arrangements and turn off the lights for awhile, until he entirely settles in and starts eating. keeps us updated.

ok he is eating now, he started eating the litle fishes in the tank 3 days ago, he did it at night, about 2 fishes a night becouse it were missing when i wake up.
yesterday i trowed in some chicken, he dident do anything but when i came back 1 hour later he had eaten it, today i trowed in some frozen fish, waited some minutes then he starts eating it :)
also added some rocks to the gravel so he can scratsh himself on becouse he likes to do that..
and i got new filtration today, the one i had were inside, now i got outside filtration.

How long will the angelfish last?

Not long! I would move them for their benifit. When he's fully settled down, I would plant the tank again.
