Hello!
Back when they were legal in the States, I always had a (Ophiocephalus) micropeltes or two - they are absolutely wonderful fish - very intelligent and personable. The babies grow very, very fast, and start slowing down when they are about 14 inches in length. I'm one of those people who don't think about one fish to a 250 gallon tank, or something like that. I would say yes, a 330 gallon tank is more than enough room - but they do tend to start fighting with one another, so if you get more than one, be prepared to separate them as they grow older.
I have never gotten one to eat anything other than live fish, so be prepared for a large food bill.
As a side note - I am part Belgian - that part of the family is from Tervuren. Cheers!
