I just bought one today from Waterlands (Dillywood lane, Kent, South East England)
cost me £30!!! and they have 4 left... nice specimens around 6" long!

He is a bit freaked out in the tank (have him at 26c... thinking of lowering the temp's to around 24 as thats the lowest i want to go with my oscars and fire-eel)

heres a pic of him... he's only been in the tank for around 10mins now... so hes a bit stressed!

24deg is the highest this fish should be at , and ideally not year round , they are certainly not a species of snakehead to be mixed in a comunity and most retailers have realised this. as they are unsuitable for most people and should only be kept in species tanks prices are now extreamly low on them , infact £30 is no longer considered cheep.

i hope he does well for you , but personally i think that mixture is unfortunatly heading for disaster
