unbelievably i lost this guy this morning. I can't believe it. I've seen snakeheads do some amazing things but this takes the biscuit. I got home last night and as i started feeding i noticed immediately he wasn't around which is weird as he's always first for food so i looked to where he usually sits on the guard of a horizontally placed heater to see somehow the guard had been removed. I then saw the guard standing upright on the bottom which is weird cos it floats and on closer inspection i noticed 2 pectoral fins poking out the sides and the snakehead was trapped inside standing upright in the guard like a caged prisoner! Had to cut the guard open to get him out and when i went to bed he was in a bad way and didn't make it through the night. Absolutely gutted. How he managed to get the guard off let alone then get trapped in a guard that floats and end up in it in that position is just unbelievable.
