they eggs hatch after three to seven days, and the hatchlings are still carryied in the fathers mouth to give them shelter. Sometimes the parents digg moulds in th eground where the fry is laid in to rest. Sometimes some of the babys get out of th emouth when there are a lot of sisters and brothers in there,limited mouth space ;-).
The mother feeds them feeder eggs when they are outside daddys mouth. In a week or so oyu can start feeding freshly hatched brine shrimp for faster growth, and to get the become used to other food.
