Very much south..
You will see its goofynesss by the time it is a 2 footer :)

I have just go two of these guys, around 5 inch long. they are not shy at all. they swim all over and when I come and look at the tank they swim right up to the glass and look right back at me as if they were saying "what's up". In just over 24 hours of having them they have pulled my heater off the wall...pulled my digital temp gauge off the wall and dug up a plant. I have 2 gold fish in the tank which were there before they were and they have never looked twice at them. what are you feeding yours and is it normal for them to act like this?

Mine just eats fish. Any big snail in there gets eaten or T least killed

sounds normal to me, younger Channa, especially when new to a tank are much less aggressive then the adults, those goldfish may be ignored until they are bite sized then they'll get gobbled up.

also just a tip, 2 snake heads rarely ever ends well. At this size aggression will be minimal, but as they mature one will suddenly turn on the other violently. It would be best to separate them sooner rater then later, either house separately or sell one to recover the money before its too late!

is the problem of keeping them together just bce of what kind they are? iv seen many pics of ppl keeping SH's together without any problems and I was hoping to do the same. sorry about all the questions.

People who keep Channas together start with a sizeable group of youn gones and let them sort it out.

From six You can hope to get one or two couples and the rest gets killed.

The couples will also have to be separated.

If you do not want deaths you have to separate upon first signs of agression or when one of the fish hides and is humiliated by the other. You will notice it.

That is why all Channa keepers keep lots of solo Channas.....
