You should really try live insects, the fact they wiggle makes them want to bite. It takes the best of their instincts and is much much better than live fish.

Yes, i tried feeding them small earthworms and they happily ate it. I am feeding them small shrimps mostly.

If those are readily available to you, there is no need, in my opinion, to transition them to pellets :)

Yeah, it is actually easy to get. But it is just a pain in the butt to scoop them in my uncle's backyard. The water is clean, so i have no problem about it, but still...
