Channa taken dislike to delhezi?

Yep - that's my baby. Though, not quite as much of a baby now!!

That pic is from when Wildwoods first got them in and they were only about 3" long living in the betta barracks. Nightmare when they tried to catch the one I wanted - he kept jumping between barracks and the other fish there were looking a tad nervous!

Sorry, but other than being crap at taking pics I've also got a crap camera and there was no light on the tank at that time. I really need to get some better ones of that tank, as you really can't see the green colouring very well but he is a beauty!

man beautiful pick up. I was looking at there webstie awhile ago and saw them. Unfortunately can't help much as we don't know the max size or temperment of this species.

Well, he's thought to be a Channa punctata variant, so as long as that's true then I'm happy.

If not, I am going to need one very large tank

Oh, they also had a channa assam sp blue variant thingie at the time I got my flouro green - I resisted but only just. A cute lil snakey like that was hard to resist

Just thinking actually, I wonder if it thought that the del was another rival s/h when she got too close? This is her, so stripeyness could be familiar if you were a confused lil fishy. Here she is trying to pose and still my shoddy camera (not to mention camera work!) can't take a good pic:
