So its been a while since i've posted any pics of my channa and i thought i'd update you guys on how my true blues have been doing.
With the season being summer, i've noticed considerable aggression between my fish and perhaps even intensified colors in their scales.
Im unsure how to sex these fish but i've noticed 1 of the 3 (the most dominant and larger than the other ones by at least 1 inch) has a much more rounded headshape and is by far the most colorful. if anyone can ID the sex for me that would be great
The other 2 have a headshape like this and are smaller with less color but still quite gorgeous

And the last one, being tough as F&@# has been beaten up fairly badly but still eats like a pig and bickers with all my other channa so i know he'll heal up in due time as he still seems quite healthy and resilient.
these channa are definitely the most aggresive fish i've kept to date, they spend all day hunting eachother and beating the crap out of themselves.
They were in a 72 gallon tank before but since it spring a leak they've been put into 40 gallon tank, smaller than i'd like but im moving out of my house this september so they'll have to bear for a little bit
If anyone has had any luck breeding these channa, please share your insight. i intend to purchase another 5 more and create a pair as i haven't been lucky enough to form a pair out of my 3 :/
thanks for looking! (pardon for the crappy pics, they were taken the night after a big water change and tank rescape so its still a little cloudy, i'll take more photos later)
