CHANNEL AND BULLHEAD CATFISH?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We have a 1500 gallon indoor pond, in our garage,
8 foot square, three feet high, but rarely do we fill
it all the way out, they already knock a lot of water out
of the tank,
I think even with a full grown bullhead i shouldnt have any problems
keeping with the rest of my cats?
I have never lost a cat to another cat, I wouldnt think a full grown
feed red tail would look at another cat as food?
My channel is currently kept with my other cats with no problems?
Most hide together

A rtc will eat bullheads and smaller catfish.....Flathead catfish eat bullheads like I eat carrot cake. Asian Red tail catfish and Gulpers will eat fish almost their own size, so it all depends on the fish and available food supplies.

just about any catfish will eaat another catfish if it is the right size.
They should do well with each other if they are near the same size.
My channel cat loves night crawlers and crawdads.

I've seen people keep 6" or so cats with 20"+ monsters with no problems, but that doesn't mean there is no risk to this. There's always the chance that someone will get hungry and the smaller ones might disappear.
