channel cat care

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
haha keep the water cold and the lights off. feed him guppies and ghost shrimp. and occassional algae wafers. my baby eats anything as long as my back is turned to him. i do have a blue led for my yellow bullheads that they love. my baby channel is in a 33L that he loves :D

i don't have any lights on the tank, it's all natural lighting since it's on my back porch, if i had the money i'd love to get a couple blue LED moonlights so i might be able to actually see him at night without him ducking behind some driftwood. i can't find him since the naja grass got moved around and now covers most of the bottom. i'm about to drop some krill into one of the open areas and see if that draws him out.

well, he still spends all of his time hiding, i saw him for the first time today since my last post. i haven't fed him in a few days so i just might be able to get him out of hiding to grad some krill. so far i've fed mostly thawed krill and river shrimp and i tried some hikari sinking wafers once.
