i have channel cats and it dont look like that. the body shape, head shape and color looks a bit off to me. Looks like a bullhead to me.

I know they are alot smaller then what you got but here r 2 of my cats, the black one is a channel and the brown one is a bull head. the one in your pic look more like the bullhead to me

Maybe it looks like a bullhead to you, but that fish is 100% channel.

Have you ever seen an adult channel? They look a bit different. The forked tail is the biggest giveaway. You can really tell from the original pics, but channels have a forked tail and bullheads have a rounded one. It's quite obvious in koyote's pics

Its a channel just look at the forked tail and you will know. This is because channel cats have forked tails and bullheads have rounded tails.
