Hm, my LFS has, or at least had an albino channel cat around 18". Not for sale though, but looks awesome.

The ones you buy in the shops must not be true albinos, they are more common then regular channel catfish. I'll have to start paying more attention and see what color their eyes are.

I agree.. I have seen whole tank fulls of albino's at lfs' before.

Someone is either off their rocker or came up with a great marketing scheme.. I vote for the first..

Damn, and I used to have a 2 1/2 foot albino channel cat in my one pond till he died from the shock of knowing how much he was worth.

if these are one in a million......how many catfish are there? because there are sure thousands and thousands of albino cats. maybe the catfish is really a blue catfish or something.
