Why do they call them 'Night crawlers' Aren't they ordinary worms?

Night crawlers are the big 6"+ worms. "Regular" worms, at least around here, are the 3-6" red worms most people use for trout and/or panfish.

If the fish was 30" then 10lbs is reasonable. I guess youre so big you made the fish look small!

i already said i wasn't positive it was 10lbs....but i know for a fact it was 30in, i measured it myself

I find it hard to beilive that its 30in. because i have caught a 30 inch channle cat and it weighed 21 pounds.

thats not a channel cat thats a pond cat, no wonder its so small.

Nice catch but 5lbs tops. BTW dont lip a channel or blue cat. As soon as one bites down you wont do it again!

I would definitely second that comment! I Caught a 12 lb blue and learned the "dont lip it" lesson at the same time! Took my father and his k-bar 5 min to free my thumb...Nice catch regardless!

some fish are fat,some are skinny.
check out google,looks after 30" they get fat and heavy.
check out these 2 i found.
is funny how you guessed about the weight and didnt know tho. lol
but it looks like that could be around 30"

Photos can be missleading, when I take pictures of my kids the fish always look bigger then when I am holding a fish the same size.
