so i was secretly watching my oscars eat to see if my 11in channel catfish would come out and ten minutes later he came out from his cave and started biting my 8in ascars by the tale and mouths. needless to say they didt get very much food should i remove him from the tank?

Im counting at least two 8" oscars and one 11" channel cat by the question asked. Hope we are dealing with a large tank here!

My channel was never openly aggressive. Only to the other big cats that went into his cave

A channel cat will eat what ever he can get into his mouth.

I know its illegal practice to do this but I do fish for channel cats with about 2''-5'' bluegills and the channels always tend to go for them. They're being catfish. They're "aggressive" to those they can frankly fit in their mouths.

ya thats a little small for them. that could be the reason for the aggression.
